\/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u4f5c\u54c1\u4ee516\u7c73\u91d0\u83f2\u6797\u62cd\u651d\uff0c\u5206\u4e03\u500b\u7ae0\u7bc0\uff0c\u4ee5\u7a7a\u9593\u4e3b\u5c0e\u7684\u62cd\u651d\u6a21\u5f0f\u53bb\u8a18\u9304\u6a13\u5b87\u7d50\u69cb\u3001\u74b0\u5883\u8b8a\u66f4\u53ca\u5bb6\u5ead\u9077\u96e2\u7d93\u904e\u3002\u93e1\u982d\u5f9e\u5c4b\u90a8\u88cf\u7684\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u9593\u904a\u8d70\u5230\u5ba4\u5167\u55ae\u4f4d\uff0c\u6642\u800c\u53c8\u5f9e\u9060\u8655\u773a\u671b\u627e\u5c0b\u5bb6\u3002\u300a\u5bb6\u5ead\u516c\u5bd3\u300b\u4e0d\u50c5\u662f\u5c0d\u57ce\u5e02\u623f\u5c4b\u7684\u8a18\u9304\uff0c\u9084\u662f\u5c0d\u4e00\u500b\u5bb6\u5ead\u7684\u7bc0\u9304\u3002<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Old Slab proposes an alternative approach to document space. The film chronicles a dwelling of thirty years in Fu Shan Estate, a public housing estate in Hong Kong. The residential block adopts the style of \u2018Old Slab\u2019, where the building is an elongated rectangular structure with 34 flats internally connected by a single corridor.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shot on 16mm film, the seven chapters of the work unfold under a spatial-driven mode of documentation to capture building structures, environmental changes, and a family&#8217;s process of vacating their home. The camera drifts from the communal spaces of the estate into the confines of a flat, occasionally shifting its standing afar in search of home. His practice brings the machine into the periphery of the image, reestablishing a visible layer which preserves the intent of image-making and embodies an application of rationale. The building itself was undergoing bizarre transformations, situated within unique urban planning. <i>Old Slab<\/i> gives it one last look, or to see it in newly encountered perspectives.<br
