香港人。誤打誤撞進入電影界，不從屬任何團體、公司。資質所限，只能創作自己有感覺的作品；多年來在貧窮線邊緣掙扎，都是自找的。打算轉行，可惜垂垂老矣。
Born and raised in Hong Kong, I stumbled into filmmaking almost by chance and have remained independent ever since. I’m passionate about making personal films, regardless of whether doing so seems like a sensible career path. Years spent struggling on the edge of poverty have been the result of my own choices. Now I’m considering a career change—though, unfortunately, age is beginning to catch up with me.

我直接說吧：假如沒有暴政把大量香港人關進監獄；沒有瘟疫將人與人隔絕；沒有後社會運動的迷惘、恐懼和歉疚，不會有這次創作。
多麼慶幸能稍微脫離行屍走肉的自己，去拍這個小故事。我相信就算是微弱的錯覺，也可以是支撐我們走下去而不至迷失的重要光芒。

The true power of prison walls lies in making those fleeting flashes of connection feel like mere illusions. You are better off not looking back; ignorance is bliss.
I'll be blunt: if it weren't for the tyranny that imprisoned so many Hong Kongers; if it weren't for the plague that isolated us; if it weren't for the confusion, fear, and guilt of the post-social movement era, this film would not exist.
How fortunate I am to have briefly escaped my own walking-dead existence to film this little story. I believe that even a faint illusion can be an essential light that sustains us and keeps us from losing our way.
