《翁丁》是一部拍攝十年的紀錄片，記錄了2012至2022年間，中國最後一個原始部落翁丁，在「精準扶貧」與旅遊開發中被迫改寫命運的過程。第六代寨主楊艾那一生守著古寨，與愛人圍著火塘過著平靜日子。當政府與公司試圖將村民遷往新村、把老寨變成景區時，他帶領村民拒絕搬遷。六年間，在威嚇與壓力下，多數村民陸續離開，只有他和家人仍繼續抗爭，直到一場大火降臨。
Wengding is a documentary filmed over ten years, tracing how Wengding, known as China’s last primitive tribe, was forced to undergo a radical transformation between 2012 and 2022 under the pressures of targeted poverty alleviation and tourism development. Yang Aina, the sixth-generation village chief, spent his entire life guarding the ancient settlement, living a quiet life with his wife around the household firepit. When the government and tourism companies tried to relocate the villagers to a new settlement and turn the old village into a tourist site, he led the villagers in refusing to move. Over six years of intimidation and mounting pressure, most of the villagers gradually left. Only he and his family continued to resist, until a devastating fire finally descended.

劉春雨 ，原中國中央電視台、中國國際電視台紀錄片導演，辭職後就讀於雲南大學東亞影視人類學研究所和栗憲庭電影學校，畢業後從事影視人類學影片製作，《翁丁》為首部獨立紀錄長片。
Liu Chunyu, formerly a documentary director at CCTV and CGTN, Liu resigned to study at the Institute of East Asian Film and Anthropology at Yunnan University and the Li Xianting Film School. After graduating, Liu was involved in the production of films focused on visual anthropology. “THE LAST TRIBE IN CHINA” is his first feature-length documentary.

翁丁，在人類學家眼裏被稱作“人類的童年”，這裡有人類情感最初的樣子。這是一個有著原始血脈的母體，保護她的族人生活了三四百年，每一個孩子都是生活在這裏的成年人的童年。
當外來的“闖入者”來到這個大家庭，帶來了各種各樣的新奇，背後也帶來了憂慮，當新的文明席捲而來，猝不及防的翁丁也產生了分裂，直到族人散盡，這個母體最終失去了存在的意義，直到一場大火，華麗地涅槃而去！
Wengding, described by anthropologists as “the childhood of humanity,” preserves the earliest forms of human feeling. It is a maternal body with an ancient bloodline, sheltering its people for three to four hundred years. Every child here is also the childhood of the adults who live within it.
When outsiders entered this large family, they brought novelty, but also anxiety. As a new civilization swept in, the unprepared Wengding began to fracture. Its people gradually dispersed, and this maternal body ultimately lost the reason for its existence, until a great fire arrived, and it departed in a final, magnificent rebirth.
