當一整個世代並非自願、而是被迫遺忘時，記憶能如何被保存？友誼是否能成為一種溫柔卻固執的堅持？攝影機伴隨著青年重返記憶的黑洞，低調而內斂的影像，讓無法言說的情緒在闇夜中發酵。這不僅是一部紀錄片，更像一封寫給彼此的青春備忘錄，一場共同記住的練習——在陰鬱時代裡，透過愛與陪伴，拼湊出一代港人困惑卻真切的群像。
Years after their imprisonment, the director gathers his close friends to return to fragments of a past that never fully passed. Sitting together, they look at images and moments once sealed away, not to reconstruct events, but to sense what still lingers.
As memories surface through scars, dreams, humor, and silence, the film traces a shared attempt to make space for one another, and observes how trauma lives on in the body and in everyday life. Some images return clearly; others remain unstable, fading or breaking apart. Rather than filling these gaps or moving past them too quickly, Compact Disc stays with them—searching for what might emerge when unspeakable moments are allowed to exist, held collectively, without demand for resolution.

於2002年生於香港，現居倫敦。創作涵蓋紀錄片、影像、聲音與裝置。其創作探索記憶、數位空間與生命經驗之間不穩定的關係，以及更廣泛的政治力量如何介入其中，並相信創作的過程即作品本身。
他的最新作品《Compact Disc》曾獲哥本哈根國際紀錄片影展新視角獎，及台灣國際紀錄片影展再見真實獎首獎，並入選DokuFest、VideoEX、Image Forum等多個國際影展。
Born in Hong Kong, 2002, Rico WONG is an artist filmmaker based in London, working across documentary, moving image, sound and installation. His practice explores the unstable relationship between memory, digital place, and lived experience under broader political forces, with an approach that considers the experience of making as the product itself. His latest film, Compact Disc, has won the New: Vision Award at CPH:DOX, Grand Prize for TIDF Visionary Award, and has been selected for DokuFest, Videoex and Image Forum.
