《烤火房的一些夢》描寫一個泰雅家庭在祖父過世後，面對情感與靈性的失序。他們逐漸意識到自己與祖先倫理 Gaga 的疏離，也映照出長期同化與社會變遷造成的文化斷裂。影片追隨家人在現代生活與原住民記憶之間掙扎，試圖延續長輩留下的泰雅精神，尋找回家的方向。
SPI follows a Tayal family after their grandfather’s death as they confront emotional and spiritual rupture. Estranged from Gaga, their ancestral ethics, the film reveals cultural fractures shaped by assimilation and modern life, tracing a struggle to carry Tayal spirit forward and find a way home.

莎韻西孟
Sayun 是來自台灣泰雅族 Sqoyaw 部落的影像工作者，畢業於國立臺灣藝術大學廣播電視學系。她的影像之路始於原住民族電視台擔任記者，之後轉至公視國際部擔任紀錄片製作統籌。
秉持著對原住民影像敘事的責任與熱情，Sayun 於 2022 年 8 月創辦了台灣第一個原住民族電影學院，培力年輕的原民影像創作者，持續產出具文化深度的影像作品。
Sayun is a Tayal filmmaker from Sqoyaw community in Taiwan. She studied Broadcasting and Television at the National Taiwan University of Arts and began her career at Indigenous Television, later working in documentary production at PTS. Her commitment to indigenous storytelling led her to establish Taiwan’s first Indigenous Film Academy in August 2022, aiming to empower a new generation of filmmakers.

這部片我拍了十年，是一段既私密又艱難的旅程。
在探索泰雅族傳統的核心價值—Gaga的同時，也拍攝自己的家人，對我來說是一個極大的挑戰。爺爺過世時，我還來不及向他學習，只能轉向家人與族中的長輩請教，試著去理解那些沒有被說出口的事。
Gaga是無形的，卻強而有力地影響著我們的生活。在這些年拍攝的過程中，我也漸漸與它一同成長，《Spi 烤火房的一些夢》不只是電影，它是我重新連結泰雅身份的方式，現在，這部片終於完成了。我很慶幸自己沒有放棄。它成為了一個空間，讓我的家人得以說出屬於我們自己的故事，也讓我們的聲音能夠被這世界聽見。
I spent ten years making this documentary, filming my own family while tracing the presence of Gaga, the Tayal ethical system shaped by ancestral knowledge. My grandfather passed away before I could learn from him directly, leaving gaps that led me back to my family and elders, toward what had remained unspoken.
Though intangible, Gaga continues to structure our lives. Throughout the process, doubt accompanied me, yet the film grew alongside my understanding. Spi became not only a record of family memory, but a way to reconnect with Tayal identity. I’m glad I didn’t give up on completing the film. Now it opens a space for intergenerational voices and shared remembrance to reach the world.
