In Taiwan’s funerals, soul guiding singing arrays and rituals are believed to be able to guide the souls of the deceased to the Land of Bliss (namely, Heaven). As folk arts evolve with time, they might disappear at some point. This is why Lin Tsung-fan, a red-turbaned Taoist wizard has been trying to find a path that leads to the future of his soul guiding singing troupe.

How can one know if the soul-guiding song ritual is beneficial to the deceased? 1. Belief brings results. 2. Respect as if they were present. 3. Sincerity leads to spiritual efficacy. The journey of documentation is sometimes not about seeking answers, but about learning to feel and experience everything in the moment. The same applies to the journey of life.
