Chia Chi Chen, graduated in the Department of Motion Picture at the Taiwan National University of Arts, specializing in directing and cinematography.
I am actively engaged in researching gender and multicultural issues, the aspiration for my works is to extract the most genuine emotions from life experiences, and inspire others through their viewing experience.

小女孩即將轉大人，生理開始變化之際，社會對於性別的總總認知也開始鎖套在女孩的身上，片中以不想穿內衣的角度切入，巧妙帶出故事的主軸，敘事風格輕鬆卻不失重量。
"I don't want to grow up; I don't want my breasts to grow; I don't want to be afraid when walking alone at night; I don't want to have periods; I don't want to separate my friends into boys and girls."These are the beginnings of childhood nightmares of every woman. Some people forget them as they grow up, while others remember. And that's why I created Ling (the heroine). She is the carefree little girl running in every girl's childhood. I hope that she can be remembered, at the very least.
