Now I understand that the more completely the dinosaurs were annihilated, the wider their domain extended. They not only controlled the forests that covered the continents, but also penetrated into the depths of human thought that remained on Earth. Starting from the ancient, fear and doubt inducing ancestors, they continuously stretched out their necks and raised their claws, expanding their domain.(Calvino "The Dinosaurs.")

Director

CHEN Zi-Rui

Chen Zirui is a Chinese artist now in The Graduate School for Moving Image of Kunsthochschule Kassel. His works are often based on his own identity and address political and social issues from the point of view of technology and media. Beyond the issues themselves, he also tries to make visible the ways in which narratives are constructed. His works include experimental video and installations.

LIU Guangli

Liu Guangli was born in Lengshuijiang City, Hunan Province and currently works and lives in Paris. Graduated from the Le Fresnoy National Institute of Contemporary Art in France. His creations often draw nourishment from the narrow slits of describing history or events in different ways, and finally find their own postures in installations, videos, documentaries, and paintings, implying that our understanding of the present is shaped by information media formats, pre-existing language, and social norms.
