K, a senior high, gets close to herself in every once a week in the tutoring class. Her tutor teacher, Xian Xian, is a college student focusing on English Literature. During the class, Xian Xian takes K to do reading comprehension, and also leads K to her inner-self.

Taiwan actor and director. He used to act in many independent films, television series and movies. Due to his experiences in acting and cooperation of crews, since 2005, he began to create his own works, also still to perform.

劉岳銘導演：
當初劇本想法的起頭，是因為要幫表演班拍攝期末作業，是跟愛有關的主題，劇本就由愛的方向去發想。
片名的閣樓取的是girl的諧音，閣樓是女學生的異想世界、生活空間、家，片中的女學生愛男或愛女，在性別上的矛盾，卻是自己一直找尋的部分；而家教老師對女孩的心是單純的，老師的角色全是靠導演的指示引導把自己演出來，老師在片中的身分是自在的、輕鬆的。這部片的聲音設計，全由配樂師去決定走向，攝影師手持相機拍攝所造成的畫面晃動，也讓觀眾有偷窺、跟蹤的現場感。
