I make documentary because I think imagery and story can be told with documentary. I believe image has the greatest power to change the world. Focusing on filmmaking now, I hope documentary can serve as a medium for conversation between the artist and the society and I wish I can create more works which bring positive meanings to the general publics.
關於無效醫療，我們瞭解的太少，如果不是親身經歷，很難體會一念之間的取捨有多困難。導演陳志漢透過冷靜的鏡頭語言，讓我們一同參與了這個最難下的決定，這是你我人生中可能會經歷的困境，同時也是一場最漫長的告別。

「很多人認為我在拍死亡，但老實說我拍的不是死亡，而是生命。因為生命裡頭就包含了死亡這件事情。」── 陳志漢
陳志漢導演持續紀錄生死議題，繼《那個靜默的陽光午後》，《一念》聚焦仰賴呼吸器維生的重症案例，面臨生死關頭的決意，醫生、病患、家屬三方無奈，難以解開。本片耗時三年製作完成，前期與被攝者的溝通長達半年，陳志漢將分享自身的紀錄觀點，與鏡頭取捨背後的掙扎。
今年南方影展主視覺為《奇幻藥丸》，如果和《駭客任務》主角般，有機會吃下一顆看到真實世界的藥丸，希望能改變什麼事？陳志漢認為，每個人眼裡的真實都不ㄧ樣，他期望擁有的能力，還是和紀錄片息息相關......。
