In the film class, a new transfer student, Chen Guo-fang, arrives with facial disfigurement. Out of sympathy, Zhang Li-xiang takes the initiative to help him get acquainted with the new environment, and the two become friends. However, over time, Zhang Li-xiang feels that Chen Guo-fang is becoming overly attentive, beyond what a normal friendship would entail. He begins to suspect that Chen Guo-fang has a crush on him and becomes cautious. In the end, he discovers that the truth is not what he imagined...
Director
Cheng Yu-Chieh
Born in 1977 in Tainan, Taiwan, he graduated from the Department of Economics at National Taiwan University. In 2000, he completed his first 16mm short film BABYFACE, which won the Special Jury Prize at the Taipei Film Festival. In 2001, he completed the 16mm film Summer, Dream, which won Best Short Film at the 38th Golden Horse Awards, Best Narrative Feature in the Professional Category at the 2002 Taipei Film Festival, and was selected by multiple international film festivals. In 2005, he completed his first feature-length film Do Over.
