At a tiny corner in Tuen Mun, Marco the sixth grader comes to the tunnel where he used to linger with his best friend Chris. Meanwhile, a flying plane can be heard from above. As Chris’s departure is nearing, Marco’s world suddenly expands from the octagonal park to the opposite continent at the bottom of the map. Nothing could be done to prevent this inevitable loss, but all Marco wants is to look for a memory: that ordinary life of the everyday, when Chris was around, walking along with him.

攝影、取景跟分鏡與劇本巧妙的呼應，構築出一個孤獨與疏離的迷宮城市，演員的演出可信還帶有詩意，導演藉由兒童視角，帶領觀眾觀看某種後時代革命的香港氛圍，也看人生中跨文化語言的無奈與無法避免的離散。
Life is saddening, and I was harboring the thought to record Hong Kong’s atmosphere at the moment when I wrote this story. But my limited ability is to blame. As I was working on this project, I realized this work is merely a soliloquy where I talk to myself. Perhaps like Marco, I am afraid of changes, afraid of loss, and afraid of forgetting. Even though reality may not align with what we expected, this work is, after all, a little memorabilia which my talented friends and I put in our effort to finish. Perhaps we are all waiting for that one day, when Marco could see the opposite continent, and when everything in here is changing for the better once again.
