Goodbye, Taipei

A dying millionaire offers a large reward to find his missing granddaughter. Wandering singer, Wen, chances upon a shoe-shine boy and a flower-girl, who both resemble the millionaire’s granddaughter. Two strangers attempt to abduct the flower-girl for the reward money but Wen intervenes. In the process, he learns the shoe-shine boy is the actual missing girl. This film is the final and only complete episode of several stories written by and starring Wen Xia, who also performs the songs. It includes surviving footage from previous episodes at the beginning.
