It is the last day before Hsiao-Chun’s 18th birthday, as she prepares to leave her hometown and become a college freshman. That night, she overhears a secret which will change the way she looks at her family and herself. Even if she thinks she might miss how Little Hsia keeps making fun of her, she realizes suddenly that maybe she doesn’t even have the right to miss him. In the dark, as the candle light on the birthday cake approaches her gloomy heart, what wish will she make for herself?

Ke-Yin PAN
Ke-Yin PAN is a director, scriptwriter, editor and voice-over artist. He graduated from the Mass Communication Department of Tamkang University. He was nominated for a Golden Bell Award for best editing for his work on the short HIT AND RUN, an episode of the series TIL DEATH DO US PART. His first feature short MY SISTER received the production grant from the Taiwanese Ministry of Culture.

Sister, the one who needs to have strength and carry responsibilities in a family. Tough life it may be, but they all need a warm hug. MY SISTER is the first story of a full-length feature film FAMILY SECRETS, it’s dedicated to those who were forced to be strong in one family.
好享受在這麼短的篇幅裡面可以享受劇情享受角色。《姊姊》是一齣在文本上完成度極高、執行力也飽滿的作品，因此觀眾可以自然而然跟著角色談戀愛、跟著角色得知家裡的秘密而心碎、再跟著角色得知自己是被愛的而感動落淚！
