AW See Wee

Born in Johor, Malaysia, Aw See Wee went his film study in Taiwan (National Taiwan University of Arts) . He came back and based in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Influenced by the traditional asian culture, his film works mostly focusing on family relationship and social phenomenon. With his cinematography and sound design expirences, See Wee always tries to break through the possibility of visual and audio elements on his work.

對土地的選擇，竟是存活的籌碼。躊躇往返的國界，卻是怎麼也跨不過的家土。

Discussion

李麟（四不像新村攝影）：
導演一直在台灣念書，畢業後就回馬來西亞了。導演希望可以做為一個馬來西亞人，說馬來西亞的故事。所以才拍了這個作品。導演之前也曾經從馬來西亞去新加坡工作，也都要到新山轉車，每次到新山他都很無聊，就都會到動物園去。在那裡看到特有種的馬來貘，沒有被很好的照顧，心裡感到可悲，而開始這個創作。
